Terms & Conditions

A Sullivan Jewellery is modern heirlooms, made by hand to be worn every day. Every piece is handcrafted to order by Aisling Sullivan in Melbourne, Australia (ABN 41 670 371 388).

Buying from A Sullivan Jewellery means you agree to the terms below. They're here to keep things clear and considered, from your first enquiry through to the piece arriving with you.

Made to Order

Every piece is made to order, with production usually taking 4 to 5 weeks unless stated otherwise. Timing can shift a little with the complexity of a design and how full the workshop is.

Custom and Bespoke Orders

We take on both customisations of existing designs and fully bespoke commissions. Production begins once full payment is made, or a deposit where agreed. Bespoke pieces require a minimum 50% deposit within 7 days of your invoice, and this deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due in full before dispatch. All design details are confirmed before making begins, and once a piece is in production, changes may no longer be possible.

Pricing

Prices are listed in AUD. Because the cost of gold and gemstones moves, quotes are valid for a limited time and final pricing may vary slightly until confirmed. Prices may be adjusted without notice.

Materials

We work mostly in recycled gold and sterling silver, with carefully sourced gemstones. As every piece is made by hand, small variations in finish or in a stone's character are part of handmade jewellery, not a fault.

Ring Sizing

Correct sizing is the client's responsibility before purchase, and we recommend being sized by a local jeweller where possible. Resizing may be available for a fee depending on the design. Some pieces can't be resized, and Aisling will assess this case by case.

Returns and Exchanges

Because pieces are made to order, we don't offer refunds for change of mind. Custom and personalised pieces are final sale. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if a piece is faulty or not as described.

Care and Wear

Gold and silver are soft metals, and fine scratches from everyday wear are normal over time. Rings especially can lose a little shape through constant rubbing or knocks. Please refer to our Care page for further details. To keep a piece at its best, avoid heavy lifting, friction and repeated pressure where you can. Repairs

For repairs, email asullivanjewellery@gmail.com. Repairs from general wear, accidental damage or improper care may incur a fee.

Shipping

Parcels are sent via express or standard post, signed for on delivery. Within Australia, allow 1 to 3 business days after dispatch for express, or 2 to 6 for standard. International orders can take up to 10 business days after dispatch, and any customs duties or taxes are the recipient's responsibility. Timing varies by location, and A Sullivan Jewellery isn't responsible for delays once a parcel has been dispatched.
